Follow me on Instagram (for exclusive edits/mash-ups): the_groove_supplier --- With a background in releasing funky and soulful house on some of the scene's biggest labels (as D-Reflection) it was 2016 when Dennis started his side project The Groove Supplier to showcase his love for soul, funk and disco music. After creating mash-ups and remixes of well known classics and building a fan base on Soundcloud the feeling of creating his own music took over again in 2020. It was the funk and disco influenced music of Tuxedo that inspired him to create his debut single 'The Light' with Darren Fewins. Only one week after its release on Disco Tropicana Records it was added to the 'Poolside Grooves' Spotify playlist and it received heavy rotation on Dutch national radio station Sublime. Not much later the label released his next single 'Star' featuring Yogi which got added to the 'Soul in the City' Spotify playlist amongst many other playlists world wide. Those releases and the ones that followed perfectly reflect the sound The Groove Supplier stands for: dance grooves with catchy pop-style vocals, four-on-the-floor-rhythms and sounds that bring you back to funk and disco music of the 70s and 80s. Feel good vibes! Inspired by artists like Jafunk, Purple Disco Machine, Dua Lipa, Chromeo, SG Lewis, Jessie Ware, The Weeknd, Dave Lee and Opolopo just to name a few The Groove Supplier is ready to release some brand new grooves in 2024 after focusing on his DJ career in 2023.
