Gforty

Gforty is a Berlin based artist, originally from Rome, primarily focusing on Groove Techno with dark tribal-oriented undertones, seamlessly blending contemporary elements with the rich heritage of Detroit Techno, Berlin Techno and Chicago House. Gforty's journey into electronic music began in the early 2000's in Rome, since then, he consolidated his experience performing at various clubs and events across Germany, Spain, UK and Italy. His distinctive production style has garnered recognition from international record labels such as Bush Records, Sticky Ground, Bonzai, Bulletdodge and playtime from influential figures in the techno scene, including Slam, DJ Bone, Ben Sims, Luke Slater, Truncate, Laurent Garnier, Ken Ishii, DJ Boris, Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin. Gforty's work has also been featured on Mixmag and on BBC Radio One's "Essential Mix" radio show, hosted by Pete Tong. In 2022 he created Paradis Artificiel Collective, a collective of DJs, producers, and ravers dedicated to fostering a healthy and inclusive techno community in Berlin with a dedicated passion for groovy underground techno and raw house. The mission of the collective is to create a safe space for everyone, embracing diversity and encouraging self-expression across various art forms.
