www.iainmackenzie.co.uk Iain Mackenzie is a London based singer - principal male vocalist for the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, performed with artists as varied as Sandie Shaw, Joss Stone, Mica Paris, Sophie Ellis Bextor, James Tormé, Imelda May & Susan Boyle. His first album ’Twice On Sunday’ was released on Jazzizit Records in 2007. This album featured ‘Sugar’ which was masterfully remixed by Eddie Roberts for his ‘Roughneck’ album. This collaboration launched a journey into Lounge and Nu Jazz, and since then he has written and recorded original material with Club Des Belugas, Tape Five, JoJo Effect, Bebo Best, Zouzoulectric and Bureau Largo. The first complete Lounge album, ‘Blow Your Horn’ was released on ChinChin records in May 2015 and the Big Band album, A Swingin' Songbook was written and recorded with Geoff Gascoyne and released in 2017.
