ABEER is known for her ability to compose and perform music in a diverse range – from Oriental pop to Opera and contemporary western. ‘Waynak’ her first single with the Universal Music MENA was awarded as The Song Of The Year by Apple Music and topped the official radio charts in MENA for weeks, as did Her latest release ‘Bala Ma Nhess’ surpassed 20 Million YT Views & was at Number 1 for several consecutive weeks. Awarded several prizes and recognitions, including the Wadih El Safi Academic Award, the Murex d’Or (in 2010, 2017 and 2019) for Best Voice in the Arab World and the cultural award in Spain (among others). In 2022, she released her third Album ‘Bi Saraha’: the perfect bridge between different worlds, western sounds meet sensual Oriental tunes – a great reflection of Abeer and her journey as an artist and in December Abeer took over as the ambassador of Spotify Equal Arabia.
