Born in Brazil and now moving between Berlin, Lisbon and Brasília, Kurup’s music reflects migration and transformation. Rather than following a fixed style, his sets and productions shift naturally with each context. Music that carries a strong sense of place and energy, with a percussive approach that combines with atmospheric layers and flows across both downtempo explorations and more dynamic club/rave intensity, always anchored by a deep, earthy pulse. His productions have been featured on major platforms such as Worldwide FM, NTS, BBC Radio and The Lot Radio, further affirming the resonance of a journey that has led him through some of the most forward-thinking festivals and clubs worldwide — from Fusion Festival in Germany and Wonderfruit in Thailand to Tokyo’s WOMB, as well as many open-air gatherings across Latin America. Over the years, Kurup has released music through labels in Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Berlin, Mexico City, Seoul, Buenos Aires, Athens and Moscow. With multiple EPs and a full-length album, his catalogue echoes a path of diversity and exploration.
