After singing as Trio de los Hermanos Puente and Trio Puente Garcia, brothers Gilberto Puente and Raúl Puente teamed up with popular singer Virginia López, calling themselves Los Tres Reyes. Ex-Trio Los Panchos Hernando Aviles joined in 1958 to make their first record.
