A longtime DJ with a deep, genre-fluid approach, Keenan’s sets move between minimal and tech house, disco, melodic and raw techno, Afro-tribal rhythms, and underground club cuts, often weaving in familiar edits to keep dance floors locked in. His productions lean heavier and darker. Under the name Keenan Michael Ade, he makes bass-heavy, driving techno and tech house with a lo-fi edge and a punk-leaning satirical sensibility. His tracks fuse raw 4x4 grooves with gritty textures and eccentric samples rooted in contemporary American political life. Since beginning to release music, he has chosen to self-release exclusively, allowing his sound to evolve outside traditional label boundaries.
