EP "Have A Nice Weekend" is out now! .multibeat is a hip-hop/jazz trio and producer collective from Utrecht. They blend a variety of genres while always keeping the beat at the center. Strongly inspired by artists like Robert Glasper and the contemporary UK jazz wave, .multibeat aims to bring the hip-hop and jazz worlds closer together through collaborations. They released the album Toolbox (2022) with producer Noflik, followed by their EP A Muddy, What Else? (2023). Influenced by artists like BADBADNOTGOOD and KAYTRANADA, their instrumental work led to many collaborations with vocalists, culminating in the album Channel Island (2024). The record features artists such as Pete Philly, Joya Mooi, GINGE, and Tennishu (Butcher Brown). Live, the band seamlessly transitions between cosmic keyboard solos, wonky hip-hop breaks, and R&B tracks with hooks that stay in your head for days. In April 2025, .multibeat will release a new instrumental EP, “Have A Nice Weekend” on PLYGRND Records (DE).
