Las Migrañas
An underground, high-energy krautrock artist.
Las Migrañas is composed by Santiago Jimenez Ramirez (Colombia) and Guido Kohn (Argentina), who teamed up to deliver an exciting proposal to the Berlin scene: a duet with original songs that mix their roots, music they absorbed in Europe and personal aesthetics that they had carved during their careers as experimental and innovative musicians. Las Migrañas is spicy reggaeton and furious punk, latinx kraut with synthpop elements, ordered confusion that leads to chaotic ecstasy. The sound of the band is composed of a bass that rampages furious and catchy riffs, eclectic rhythm machines and synthesizers that offer truncated and primitive feeling combinations, and voices that are sometimes playful, sometimes roaring. Their appearances are not simply concerts but also performative rituals for the entities of fun.
