Ornette is a French-Italian songwriter, composer and pianist based in Paris. Ornette was already known as a pianist for Alain Bashung and as an actress for Jacques Rivette before her voice invaded our iPods with Crazy remixed by Nôze , or Sur Le Sable (feat. Mike Ladd) in duo with American rapper, Mike Ladd She has worked with many musicians including The Toxic Avenger, Joris Delacroix , Brigitte , Make The Girl Dance, Fink, Julien Lourau, Arthur H, Micky Green and with different record labels such as Get Physical, Discograph, Barclay, Tôt ou Tard, Polydor, Way of House and more. She is a free-jazz devotee hence her name Ornette, tribute to jazz Master Ornette Coleman .
