2019 Hot House Jazz magazine awardee as best guitarist, Flavio Silva is a musician who is part of a new generation of Brazilian composers and instrumentalists that has been breaking through the musical scene of different places, such as Brazil, The Netherlands and most recently, New York. Flavio has shared the stage with some highly skilled musicians such as Antonio Hart, Bruce Williams, Seamus Blake, Victor Wooten, Jamal Thomas, Ben Williams, Elijah Jamal Balbed, Munir Hossn, Cuca Teixeira, Sandro Haick, Thiago Espirito Santo, among others. Flavio also performed in some of the best festivals in Europe including the North Sea Jazz Festival(The Netherlands), Langnau Jazz Nights(Switzerland), Koektebel Jazz Party(Ukraine), Gronau Jazz Festival(Germany) and Delft Jazz Festival(The Netherlands). In 2024, Flavio announces the release of his third album, EKO. Featuring a talented line-up including drummer Cuca Teixeira, bassist Sidiel Vieira and keyboardist Gabriel Gaiardo, EKO is the outcome of everything the artist dealt with during the pandemic, mixing Jazz, Fusion and Afro Brazilian rhythms. The multi-brand endorsee presents this dynamic and versatile music with particular dexterity and flair,while maintaining the attention and appreciation of all music lovers.
