Maarten Vos

Maarten Vos is a Dutch cellist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer based in Berlin. He transforms traditional instrumentation into newfangled sounds. Known as much for his outlier, exploratory approach to the cello as his work with modular synthesizers. Vos collaborated with Nicolas Godin (Air) , Julianna Barwick, Greg Haines, Joep Beving, Colin Benders, Sebastian Plano, Fink and others. He composed music for various art disciplines; collaborated with fashion designer Iris van Herpen and visual artists Maotik, Boris Acket and Christopher Bauder, wrote music for contemporary dance companies and scored music for film.
