Jim Caruso, a multi-talented entertainer known for his quick wit, showbiz charm, and keen eye for talent, has made an indelible mark on New York City's cabaret and concert scenes. As the longtime host of Jim Caruso’s Cast Party at Birdland Jazz Club, he’s turned the weekly event into a beloved institution where Broadway stars, jazz musicians, and rising performers gather for spontaneous, electrifying performances. Notably, Cast Party also tours the world, celebrating talent in cities far and wide, further solidifying its reputation as a showcase for extraordinary artistry. Caruso's theatrical career includes a three-year tour in the Tony Award-winning Broadway show "Liza's at The Palace" alongside Liza Minnelli. His work in the production, which paid tribute to Minnelli's godmother, Kay Thompson, demonstrated his versatility as a performer, blending music and dance. Jim also had the distinguished honor of performing at the White House during a "Broadway Goes to Washington" extravaganza and recently performed in the concert version of Stephen Sondheim’s "Follies" at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops.
