LYZZA

Brazilian-born and Europe-based, LYZZA is a producer, vocalist, and composer known for expanding the boundaries of club, industrial, and pop music. First emerging as a teenage DJ in Amsterdam’s underground, she quickly established herself as one of electronic music’s iconoclasts. Her 2017 debut Powerplay became a hallmark in experimental club music, with its tracks soundtracking raves to Mugler and Nicola Formichetti runways. Since then, she’s graced stages all across the globe. Her 2022 mixtape MOSQUITO earned her critical acclaim (Pitchfork, NPR, Rolling Stone, NME) and secured a place in The Criterion Collection with its accompanying short film. Her sonic touch has drawn forward-thinking collaborators such as Mykki Blanco, John Frusciante, Nicolas Jaar, Lee "Scratch" Perry’s estate and SOPHIE to collaborations of all kinds, while solidifying herself as 'One of the artists shaping the future of music' - Crack Magazine Besides executive producing billboard-nominated songstress Emel; more recently, she scored Third World: The Bottom Dimension, a Serpentine Gallery-backed video game and exhibition, blending her sonic worlds into a world-touring experience. In 2024, Mixmag named her Producer of the Year, recognizing her ability to shape sound into something immediate, intimate, and massive all at once.
