Crossroad Trail
Crossroad Trail is a Dutch band from Amsterdam. A melting pot of multiple genres, a mix of blues, rock, and pop with a gritty edge. The foundation is formed by a solid rhythm section with Peter Gumbmann on bass (Mirage - A tribute to Fleetwood Mac, ex-Mississippi Mud Pie, ex-Belushi Memorial Blues Brothers Band) and Roel van Leeuwen on drums (Paardekooper Band). In addition, two fantastic guitarists: Jan-Willem Kanis (ex-Mississippi Mud Pie) & Hardy de Heer (ex Lucy Gray). The keys are played by Mark Spronk (ex-Bullfrog Blues Machine). Add the powerful and beautiful voice of front-woman Nienke de Jong (ex-Mississippi Mud Pie) and you have a formation that is rock solid. All songs are their own compositions, steeped in strong lyrics and catchy melodies. This did not go unnoticed. In recent times, Crossroad Trail has had the pleasure and honor of playing as a support act for some internationally renowned artists such as Judith Hill, Southern Avenue, Big Daddy Wilson, Ian Siegal & Johnny Mastro, Julian Sas, Tommy Castro and Matt Schofield. And Dan Patlansky can soon be added to this impressive list. In 2023, their first album 'Bad News' was released. In the past period, they have been working hard on new material. Take their single 'Universe', which was released on 6 June 2025. And just now, on 25 July, their latest track 'This Is Me' is released. Available on all leading streaming services. And more to come, so keep following them on social media.
