In the work of Christian Ronig, elements of Americana, Folk, Blues and Jazz meet Greek and Anatolian music. His first album Greece Is Mine (2017) has led to many concerts in Greece, among others the sold-out Rembetiko concert in Herodes Atticus Theatre, Athens. There he sang with Giota Negka and Dimitris Mystakidis, alongside Eleni Vitali, Dionysis Savvopoulos, George Dalaras, Foteini Velesiotou, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Orfeas Peridis and Vasilis Papakonstadinou. On his new double album Heavy Seas at the Cape of Good Hope, Christian recorded English versions of Greek classics as well as original songs, in which he combines elements from Greek music and Western songwriting.
