Atmos

Atmos, also known as Tomasz Balicki, is a Polish-born psy-trance DJ and producer from Sweden, who has become one of the most respected and influential figures in the genre. With over two decades of experience in the music industry, Atmos has built a reputation for his unique sound and exceptional DJ skills, which draw influences from Goa Trance and artists such as X-Dream and others alike. Atmos' music is characterized by its atmospheric soundscapes, intricate arpeggiated melodies, and psy-trance characteristic driving bass-lines. His tracks are often complex and feature elements from other genres such as techno, house, and ambient. His sound is rooted in the progressive psy-trance sub genre, but he has experimented with various styles throughout his career, in his other side projects Dominic Thomas, Amtrax, Echölab, Pacesetter and Unknown Controller. Atmos has released numerous albums and singles on various record labels, including Iboga Records, Flying Rhino, Tip Records and Spiral Trax. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the psy-trance scene, such as S-Range, Protonica, Emok, Perfect Stranger, and Captain Hook. Likewise, his music has been featured in numerous compilations and playlists. He has played at some of the biggest music festivals in the world, such as Ozora Festival, Boom Festival, Voov Festival, ZNA, Psy-Fi and Rainbow Serpent Festival, among others. Outside of music, he is an avid para-glider and a fan of anything mechanical in nature.
