A nostalgic stoner rock artist.
In June 2008 Black Spiders released debut single ‘St Peter’ & started the ball rolling. Playing with friends & heroes; Danzig, Airbourne, Monster Magnet, Turbonegro - slaying crowds at festivals; Download, Hellfest & Wacken. Ozzy Osbourne chose the band himself to open for him at the iconic Roundhouse & Ozzfest at the O2 Arena! They played China, headlining at the Olympic Stadium & came back to the UK to slay at Sonisphere - lean, live and dangerous in front of 10,000 baying fans. The debut album reached No.5 in the Official UK Rock Charts & spent 9 weeks on the German Rock chart. In 2012 they worked on 2nd album ‘THIS SAVAGE LAND’ – chewing up influences ranging from AC/DC - Sabbath, ZZ Top - The Stooges & spitting them out the other end. June 2017, Black Spiders went on hiatus, but returned with a new album, with new drummer Wyatt Wendels. The party vibe was set to ‘high’ and the drinks were on you! Black Spiders continue to make a loud and compelling case for heavy guitar music from the gutter, with three chords and the truth – revelling in the glories of the genre, its sacred lore, with a top-shelf collection of riffs, a sly dash of humour, plus an iconic logo that sits alongside the best. It’s now here in double-measure on the UK outfit’s latest and fourth studio album, ‘Can’t Die, Won’t Die’ set for worldwide release via Spinefarm on May 12th 2023. ⚡️FUBS⚡️
