Elsa Mouratidou

Elsa Mouratidou, was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. A multifaceted performer, Elsa blends Greek tradition with contemporary musical elements. She recently released the album Epsilon & Theta (Έρωτας & Θάνατος), showcasing a unique fusion of traditional melodies and innovative soundscapes through a collection of folk songs from Greece and neighboring regions. Elsa is an active member of: • Stringless – a cappella group • Argatia Ensemble – specializing in Black Sea music • Tir Fada – focused on Celtic music She has contributed to numerous projects, with most recent L’alma de Saloniko (Judeo-Spanish songs of Thessaloniki) and Plan C–Caucasus (songs from the Caucasus). With over two decades of experience, Elsa has performed at festivals and venues across Greece and internationally, including in Turkey, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and Morocco. She has collaborated with renowned Greek artists such as Giorgos Kazantzis, Doros Demosthenous, Maria Thoidou, Andreas Karakotas, Dimitris Zervoudakis, Manolis Mitsias, Antonis Kalogiannis, and Vasilis Lekkas. In theater, Elsa has worked with the National Theatre of Northern Greece and other companies, both as a performer and music director. Additionally, she has served as a vocal coach for the past 18 years, teaching in music schools and at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece.
