The Armel Dupas Trio is a French jazz band based in Nantes, featuring Armel Dupas (piano), Jules Billé (bass) and Christophe Piot (drums). It takes its origin in a series of YouTube livestreams organized by Armel during the pandemic.   As many musicians impacted by the situation, the three fellows had to re-invent their workflow and create new ways for sharing their music, also they decided to meet regularly to record a ballad album in Armel's home studio. Their DIY approach, melt with a big passion for the classic jazz's sound, led them to record their first album Lookin' Up, instantly adopted by the best jazz playlists on Spotify.   They are also actively looking for concerts and performances all over Europe, following this "indie" guideline.
