Lucy Rose
New single for 2026, Scared of Loving Wild Again signifies a first for Lucy with a first writing collaboration, something she’d not felt comfortable or confident with before. In partnership with Leif Vollebekk, songwriter/producer Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan’s Stick Season LP), and words of encouragement from both Scandinavian artist Girl In Red and Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett, Lucy collaboratively wrote music to an idea she’d been mulling over on her flight over to New York about whether there are limits to your love and why those limits are imposed. The writing sessions proved fruitful and freeing, and an exciting new experience for Lucy. The song also stemmed from a conversation with Maggie Rogers who implored Lucy to use her creativity to feel what she was feeling and to attack her music and writing without inhibition. In February/March 2026, Lucy heads out on an eight-date UK headline tour including a night at the Union Chapel in London on 4th March.
