In the Amsterdam jazz scene, Simone Don developed her unique sultry and edgy vocals with compelling melodies and infusions of neo soul, jazz and RnB. She sings about her adventures and personal growth, reflects upon the world and seduces you to get carried away in her lust for the good life and rich fantasy, with a bitter humorous edge of reality. Her most important influences are Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote, Masego and Amy Winehouse. She performs her songs solo with guitar, or with her band, consisting of Aron Febles, Rose and the Bass, Prosper Ramaker and Kitano Hernandez. In July 2024 they will go on tour in Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona and Munich.
