Lycee Ubaba

Lycee Ubaba's origins can be traced back to the late Iron Age and early Classical Antiquity periods. During this liminal period, Lycee Ubaba, a deity of the Underworld representing the unification and ultimately the dissolution of Good and Evil was slowly being exiled by the emerging moralist communities of the Eastern Mediterranean region. Gradually unity gave way to separation, peace gave way to war, and light gave way to darkness, thus sending humankind down a spiral of pain, death, destruction, and disease. Since then, the centrifugal forces of separation made sure to dismember what had remained of poor old Lycee Ubaba, burying his pieces deep into the corners of the world, and his name had not been uttered for 10,000 years... Fast-forward to 2024 A.D. A fine autumn evening. The band had been practicing for a while, they were a bit tired and they decided to end their rehearsal. For the past month, after their usual rehearsal, they would pitch their ideas for a band name. No suggestion seemed to encompass the band's spirit, they didn't know if the right words to describe the band even existed. Disappointment had flooded their vibrant souls. However, this day was much, much different as they would come to realize. They packed their things and were ready to leave, when all of a sudden they froze in space and looked at each other with a strange grin, the grin of a child who is planning its next mischief. "Lycee Ubaba", they all said in unison, "Alive, at last!"...
