"A voice for the unheard" LOLA is a 22 year old singer-songwriter from Antwerp, who’s music lets you explore the complex mind of a young woman on the verge of adulthood. Lola’s music goes beyond the traditional elements of pop music and combines the warmth and familiarity of jazz vocals with experimental electronic sounds and introspective lyrics. Lola’s songs are emotional “moments” turned into musical pieces that are, although very divergent, interconnected. She asks herself a lot of questions, some left unanswered, others explained between the lines or within a bold harmony. Lola knows who she is, but at the same time, knows who she can be. More Myself – Debut EP Enchanted by Lola’s voice, Bart Delacourt was eager to collaborate with her. He contributed to all six tracks, producing, recording, and mixing the EP. Bart has previously worked as a mix engineer for artists such as Monza, Condor Gruppe, Your Highness, Manoeuvres, and Tom Vanstiphout. As a live bassist, he has played for Milow, Novastar, Monza, and numerous other bands and TV shows. Gilles Van Deuren, Lola’s (musical) partner, co-wrote the songs and played various guitar parts.
