Barry Drooger, known professionally as Frontliner, is a Dutch electronic music producer, DJ, composer, and label owner — widely recognized as one of the pioneers of hardstyle. Blending powerful kicks with euphoric melodies, he’s helped define the genre’s emotional core for nearly two decades. His 2011 debut album Producers Mind showcased his creativity with tracks like “Halos” and “I’m the Melodyman.” Later, The Summer of Frontliner 1 and 2 brought timeless euphoric energy, including fan favorites like “Loud.” Frontliner has released high-profile remixes for Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Showtek, and Major Lazer, and collaborated with global stars like Timmy Trumpet, MaRLo, Sander van Doorn, and Blasterjaxx. Within hardstyle, he’s worked with top-tier names like Headhunterz, Brennan Heart, Wildstylez, D-Block & S-Te-Fan, and Da Tweekaz. Frontliner is also the founder of This Is Hardstyle, his independent label and platform for supporting talent and pushing the genre forward. In 2025, he proudly brought the label back to Scantraxx, the legendary home where his career first took flight. In 2024, he released Echoes of Euphoria — a deeply personal album reviving the genre’s melodic essence. With every release and performance, Frontliner continues to inspire a global fanbase and shape the sound of modern hardstyle.
