Jakuzi
Istanbul synthpop vanguards Jakuzi turned heads in 2017 with the release of their unique and exciting debut album 'Fantezi Müzik’ which showcased modern Turkish underground music to the world. Two years later their new album, “Hata Payı” brings a more refined and darker sound to their arsenal, exploring the depths of relationships and the human condition. “Hata Payı” is full of ideas and energy, the songs take well nuanced twists and turns and prove that even in the darkest hours, Jakuzi never shy away from glorious pop moments. On September 27, 2024, after 5 years, they released the first part of their new album, "Madalyon", their 3rd album. The album's inspirations were B-Movie horror & teenage slasher movie soundtracks, weird & romantic lo-fi recordings and post-republic Turkish poets. After the album's release, they completed a European tour. They will release the second half of the album in 2026 and continue touring. In addition, they present the softest and chanson version of their songs with a side project called Jakuzi on Piano.
