Maximilian

Claudiu Iulian Husaru, known as Maximilian, is a Romanian hip hop singer. Born in Bacău, he started his musical career in 1998 with the band Mahsat. Claudiu befriended other Romanian rappers, such as Grasu XXL and Cheloo, and in 2002 he released the album Laboratoru' with his colleagues from Mahsat, distributed through the Cat Music record label. Maximilian's first solo album, Volumu' la Maxim...ilian!!!, was released on October 22, 2008 and is named after the first single promoted, "Volumu' la Maxim...ilian!!!". In the summer of 2011, together with MefX, he released the video for the song "Sophie", thanks to which he becomes known to the general public. Both the song and the video were very successful and garnered over 20 million views on YouTube. In 2013 he released his second solo album, entitled Maxim, am spus!!!. It was promoted by 3 singles: "Aseara...(Hash-Hash)", "Maxim, am spus!!!" in collaboration with DOC, and "Sophie" with MefX. In the spring of 2016 followed the third solo album signed by Maximilian, called "A 5a roată la căruță". Among the artists invited on the album are Grasu XXL, MefX, Spike, Angeles, Șatra B.E.N.Z., Valentin Câmpeanu.
