StarLab is the Psytrance project of Bharat Bindal, based in Goa, India. A classically trained musician since childhood, Bharat’s diverse musical foundation spans from Indian classical to years of touring and recording with a metal band—an eclectic journey that ultimately led him to the mystical world of psychedelic music after a life altering beach party experience in Goa. In 2011, he formed StarLab, ultimately joining forces with Mumbai based label Digital Om Productions as a live act. Since then,StarLab has grown into one of India’s foremost psytrance exports, performing at major festivals and venues across the globe such as Boom Festival, OZORA, Universo Paralello, Hadra Trance Festival, Ommix Equinox and many more. Known for his deep, cinematic storytelling, driving melodies and immersive soundscapes, StarLab brings his unique blend of intensity, and soul to the dancefloor. In 2025, he was invited to close the legendary Dance Temple at Boom Festival, marking a career-defining milestone in his ever-evolving artistic journey.
