Jong Metropole
An underground jazz artist.
Jong Metropole is a collaboration between the National Youth Orchestras of the Netherlands (NJON), the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NJJO) and the Metropole Orchestra (MO) and is composed of the best musicians from the Dutch conservatories. In this orchestra, young talented musicians from the classical and jazz worlds meet in a unique orchestra that brings both worlds together. Students from the Dutch conservatories come together at Jong Metropole for a year and play two tours in Summer and Autumn. Jong Metropole was founded in 2015.
