LIGHTLEAK, born and raised in Laguna Beach, California, is an emerging force in the minimal deep tech and house scene. In 2024, he sharpened his craft while studying electronic music production in Amsterdam, immersing himself in Europe’s vibrant underground culture. The Shelter EP on Hottrax gained widespread traction, reaching #1 on the House chart on Beatport and #1 trending across all genres on SoundCloud, where it held its position for over two weeks, while also receiving support from BBC Radio 1. Building on this momentum, LIGHTLEAK followed with the Dance For Me EP on PIV Club, which marked a new creative and commercial peak. The EP received support from BBC Radio 1, was selected as Track of the Day on SoundCloud, and earned prominent editorial placement on Spotify via All New Dance and Deep and Minimal, further solidifying his growing international presence. Supported by leading names such as Jamie Jones, Rossi., Solomun, Prunk, Sidney Charles, Locklead, Traumer, Carlita, Joseph Capriati, Pete Tong, and much more, LIGHTLEAK’s sound blends groove heavy drums, tight basslines, and a colorful, modern edge built for the dancefloor. Building on this momentum, LIGHTLEAK has forthcoming releases on TSZR, Nervous Records, Factory 93, PIV, and Method 808, continuing to establish himself as one of the most exciting new names shaping the sound of modern underground house.
