Bo Weavil

Bo Weavil is a singer-songwriter who has forged a unique musical identity over the years. Bluesman at heart, he has enriched this universal language by blending touches of funk-rock, soul, and afro grooves. His songs tell sensitive and timeless stories, carried by a deep voice. Performing as a multi-instrumentalist one-man-band, he and his guitar deliver a rich, powerful, and syncopated rhythm, while vocals are punctuated with brassy harmonica riffs. With several albums to his name, Bo Weavil has established himself as a standout on the French independent scene, recognized for his authenticity and his ability to weave a musical universe where groove always serves emotion. He returns this year with a new album, his eighth, entitled 'Shadows', an album with more rock, more funk, more soul, also embellished with tracks with a worldmusic feel. Bo Weavil performs on stage as a combo accompanied by his faithful partner Nouschka on percussion and backing vocals, or as a trio with drums.
