Inquisition

Inquisition performs what they refer to as Mystical Violence Black Metal, inspired by the nature of the universe under the symbolism of Lucifer who guides us towards cosmic enlightenment, and Satan as the philosophical symbol of human existence on earth. Inquisition was formed in 1989 by Dagon while living in Colombia, initially rooted in the Thrash Metal genre with their first two demos. In 1994 Inquisition was initiated into the cult of Black Metal with its third demo titled "Incense of Rest", creating with it, what would become the songwriting platform and foundation from which would spawn the debut full length in 1998 and all future albums. Inquisition has been located in Washington State, United States since 1996 and has continued with the same line up since then on all full length albums, with Dagon on vocals and guitars, Incubus on drums. They have remained as a duo both in the studio and during their live performances since 1996.
