Convex Model
A homegrown, nostalgic darkwave artist.
Convex Model is a synth wave band based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Founded by Nick Kapantzakis (also member of Human Puppets, Plexiglas, Dislocation Genders). Members: Nick Kapantzakis (synths&vocals)/Eleni Tzouna (synths)/George Papadopoulos (bass)/Kyriakos Tsakalidis (drums)/Stavi Tsiara (lyrics). In 2017 Nick Kapantzakis (synths/voice) along with Stavroula Tsiara (lyrics/visuals) released the band's first output, a 6 track cassette named Intersecting Planes (101 copies, self-released). In 2018 they self-released their debut LP, Life in a Glass Cube, followed by the second LP, Quantity of Motion that was released by Kernrach Records (Germany) in 2020.
