Above all, Leona Berlin’s music is authentic. It’s a dedication to curiosity and profundity instead of plastic and shallow mainstream culture. Of course, every piece of her heavenly delightful alternative soul is self-written and self-produced. Her work is an intoxicating blend of hip hop, r&b and a wide range of contemporary influences. Following her debut with Warner Music in 2018 she has collaborated with artists like Snoop Dogg, Ray Angry (The Roots) and Casey Benjamin (Robert Glasper Experiment). Her second album titled "Change" (November 2021) features contributions from NYC rapper Stimulus and keyboardist Rob Araujo earning a spot on the "German Record Critics Award" bestlist 2022 (PdSK). In 2023, she appeared on Gregory Hutchinson’s album „Da Bang“ with several tracks, a collaboration that testifies to her incredible musical range as a singer, songwriter and producer. Her third studio album is underway with several singles already released.
