Ensemble Klang
An underground 21st century classical artist.
“An impressive aural assault” Scottish Herald Ensemble Klang is a contemporary music sextet founded in 2003 and based in The Hague (Netherlands). Their sonic adventures have seen them work with some of the leading composers of today, with projects staged with Heiner Goebbels, David Lang, Tom Johnson, Julia Wolfe, Michael Hersch and Peter Adriaansz. Its unique yet versatile instrumentation – saxophones, trombone, keyboards, percussion, guitar, electronics – brings the energetic drive and passion of a band to a typically complex music, combining virtuosic accuracy with musical risk.
