Aera
A nostalgic, underground indie dance artist.
For some, learning to let your music grow naturally and trusting your intuition is the key to success. Applying yourself fully to the process and creating magic. Something deeply personal, yet universal enough to connect with the hearts and minds of many. With this philosophy, Aera has established himself as a prominent and influential DJ, producer, and label owner. Renowned for his distinctive approach to melody and mind-bending arrangements, he has carved out his own niche in the contemporary house and techno landscape. Originally from Germany and now based in Málaga, Spain, Aera began his musical journey over two decades ago. Inspired by the first wave of rave culture in the mid-90s, his older brother's record collection, and an early fascination with sounds, his path in life became clear from a young age. Few producers can claim support from such a wide range of high-profile DJs and labels, from Keinemusik to Afterlife, Jamie xx to Solomun, and, of course, his home label, Innervisions where he has been a long-time fixture, with standout tracks like "Prana ", "Acido" and "Y.e.a.h." His label, Applied Magic, not only features his own work but also supports upcoming artists, providing them a platform to be heard. Recently, Aera planted a new seed with long-time friend Jesse Trinidad called Ocean Flor, celebrating the natural beauty of his newfound home in Andalusia.
