Buckwise

Buckwise is an Italian music project that, since 2018, blends the atmospheres of dream pop with the most innovative electronic music, in a journey of constant discovery. The band embarked on a new artistic path, evolving towards a more mature and sophisticated sound in 2020. Merging indietronica with synthetic orchestrations and driving beats, they crafted a dreamlike, immersive atmosphere. The English lyrics offer an introspective look at reality, guiding the listener through an emotional journey of ethereal melodies and profound reflections. The following meeting with Francesco Cerasi, a composer of soundtracks for major productions (Amazon Prime Video, BBC, Rai, Sky Cinema), marked a turning point in the Buckwise project’s development. In 2022 they signed a publishing contract with his label, Bonimba. In 2023, Buckwise also joined the roster of Dischi Uappissimi: an independent label and collective with a strong focus on musical research and innovation. With new singles released on digital platforms and a growing fanbase, Buckwise has been making waves both domestically and internationally. Their live performances have graced stages at prestigious international festivals like FIMU Belfort 2024 (France), Ypsigrock Festival 2024 (Italy), Tallinn Music Week 2024 (Estonia), TEDx Barletta 2023 (Italy), PROtFest (Bosnia). They played alongside renowned acts such as Explosions in the Sky, Royel Otis, Ermal Meta, Santi Francesi and many more.
