An underground pop artist.
Julia Rosenhart is a Dutch singer-songwriter and pianist known for her blend of introspective lyricism, catchy songwriting and unexpected melodic turns that keep listeners leaning in. A graduate of the Conservatory of Antwerp, she crafts music that explores themes of longing, solitude, and the supernatural, anchored by rich vocals. Based in Amsterdam Noord, Rosenhart draws inspiration from the local creative scene, collaborating with musicians and visual artists alike. After years of studying at the Conservatory and a lot of experimentation, she found her voice by embracing both vulnerability and boldness in her songwriting. Her style is influenced by icons like Joni Mitchell, Rufus Wainwright, and Kate Bush — artists unafraid to push boundaries and surprise their listeners. From an early age, Julia was captivated by the piano, composing her first instrumental pieces as a teenager before moving toward lyric-driven work. Her performances invite audiences into a deeply personal world — one that feels intimate, magnetic, and at times otherworldly. Her new EP Brimstone was made possible with support from Sena, muziekproductiefonds.
