Ushala
A homegrown, underground folk metal artist.
Ushala is an ever evolving, mainly, instrumental trio from Ioannina/Greece that performs heavy atmospheric post metal music. Their style draws elements from progressive and instrumental rock to post metal, combined with poetry recital. Their first ever self-released EP (‘En archi in to chaos’) was released digitally back in 2018 and included 2 songs. After a few years of rehearsing and forming new material the band has managed to record their first self-titled album ‘USHALA’ (winter 2023) which comprises their 2nd release and consists of 9 songs. Groovy rhythmic patterns, heavy riffs, dark harmonies, cinematic melodies along with some dramatic breakdowns characterize their new sound.
