Aegis
Joppe Damstra, better known as Aegis, started his promising artist career in 2022. After being a well-known face in the Dutch Drum and Bass scene for years, mostly by organising events, he found his home at DIVIDID where he started as resident for the label’s shows. Since this start, he has gained a wealth of experience behind the decks playing shows in England, Germany, France, Austria, Slovenia and the Netherlands. During this time, Joppe also worked on his skills as a producer, being coached by ABIS, Waeys and Overview Music, and gaining valuable input from artists such as Maysev, MISSIN and Buunshin. With his debut release coming out in early 2024, he is on track to become a household name in the Drum and Bass scene.
