tjels is an artist with a passion for telling stories through music. She searches for the balance between vulnerability and strength, with her songs reflecting personal experiences and a search for meaning. Her performances have already been compared to the whimsical musings of AURORA mixed with the understated but penetrative storytelling of Adrienne Lenker. As OOR and 3voor12 Talent for touring festival Popronde as well as the Mooi Noten 2025 winner, tjels’ breakout year is shaping up to be a bright one. This year has already seen her invited to support and perform alongside HAEVN and German artist Luke Noa on their respective tour dates, adding to her 19 already confirmed Popronde dates. Her debut EP 'Loyal Friend of the Night' is released on March 6th with an appearance music showcase festival ESNS already confirmed for January alongside a release show at Amsterdam's Paradiso on March 10th.
