Melanie Ryan

A dream chaser driven by positivity; that’s the best way to describe this Dutch country girl. Hailing from The Netherlands, singer-songwriter Melanie Ryan is on a mission to make Country cool again! Last year, Melanie had the opportunity to show her love for Country music, opening for American Country star “Dasha” in a sold-out Melkweg Amsterdam, and also impressed new audiences with her catchy Country-pop songs during the Popronde. With her latest duet “Eye of the Storm”, she captured the attention of the largest Dutch radiostations, performing live during the Edwin Evers Radio 538 afternoon show, receiving support from Mattie & Marieke (Qmusic), Daniël Dekker (NPO Radio 5) and Lisanne Bronkhorst (Radio Veronica), while also being named ‘Artist of the Week’ on Radio M Utrecht. Melanie competed in several TV shows, such as Giel's Talentenjacht by Dutch radio host Giel Beelen (2016), and SBS6’s We Want More (2020), including singing a duet with jury member Davina Michelle. In 2023 she participated in the first ever Regional Song Contest, representing Utrecht, and she even got to sing an original song during the Debuut in een Minuut by 3FM Serious Request. With a new era of music in her pocket and a guitar strapped on her back, this singer-songwriter is ready to take the world by storm with her honest and positive Country-pop songs, continuing her quest to make Country cool again!
