Bangies

Bangies is a five-piece Hip-hop / Neo Soul outfit from Athens, Greece. The band formed in 2012 and since have played numerous shows both in their home country and abroad, from house parties to large festivals, offering groovy sounds wherever they go. In 2014 they released their first album "Bassment" and in September 2019, the EP “Villa Giuseppe”. In the process they have developed a sound that stands out and approaches Hip-hop in a unique way within the greek status-quo. This year is a period of bustling creativity for the band as they prepare new material. Their live performances combine organic and electronic elements, atmospheric soulful melodies with heavy Hip-hop beats, funky bass lines with tropical grooves. Drums fuse with samples, synths with brass and vocals, creating an audiovisual spectacle complete with live visuals and on-stage installations.
