The Selfie Project Band was formed in November 2022 by Michalis Chalkiopoulos and Dimitra Apostolou, who co-write the lyrics and music. Using a combination of acoustic and electric instruments such as guitars, bass, Nord keys, melodica, as well as analog-modular systems, their music spans across trip-hop, alternative rock, indie, pop, funk, and electro-pop genres. The lyrics of the Selfie Project Band are predominantly self-centered, as evident from the band's name, with strong reflections on the present, future, and personal emotions and experiences of each individual. They are a band that stands out for their originality and creativity while offering a variety of musical influences and sounds.
