Last Hope

European hardcore scene has spawned many great bands, but when it goes down to the Balkans one of the names which first comes to mind is LAST HOPE - a true unit that has always kept the spirit of hardcore alive. Coming from Sofia / Bulgaria, formed in 1995 - at a very young age in turbulent times, they would become one of the few bands back then, responsible for building and establishing strong and notorious local scene. Surviving the test of time, constantly releasing records and playing numerous gigs all around with most diverse line-ups, Last Hope gradually became a major influence on the whole underground community. But most of all LAST HOPE is the definition of hardcore – their remarkable style is unique mixture of raw energy, intensity, heavy hard-hitting sound and unmistakable voice. Touring and sharing stages all over Europe with such bands as Agnostic Front, Madball, No Turning Back, Death Before Dishonor, Biohazard, Cro-Mags, Murphy’s Law, Suicidal Tendencies, Napalm Death, Terror… and many more, only proves that the status of Last Hope is absolutely deserved. “Balkans and South-Eastern Europe have never been a major part of the international music market, but there’s a strong local scene and Last Hope is definitely one of the best and most active bands that has ever emerged from here!”
