The Silent Wedding

The Silent Wedding craft a powerful blend of melodic heavy, power and prog metal, built on dramatic vocals, atmospheric depth and dynamic songwriting. The band introduced themselves with their self-titled EP in 2008 and the single “General Autopsy” in 2009, paving the way for their debut full-length album Livin’ Experiments (2013). The record received highly positive reviews across European press, establishing The Silent Wedding as one of the most promising names in the Greek heavy metal scene. Their follow-up album Enigma Eternal (2017) expanded their sound with a more progressive direction, richer atmospheres and refined songwriting. In 2022, the band released their most ambitious work to date, Ego Path. The album showcases a darker and more cinematic approach, blending powerful riffs, dramatic vocal lines and layered arrangements that emphasize emotion, depth and musical storytelling. The release was met with enthusiastic acclaim from media and fans, highlighting the band’s ability to merge heaviness and melody in a unique way. On stage, The Silent Wedding has shared the bill with major international acts including Deep Purple, Within Temptation, Saxon, Therion, Beast in Black, Iced Earth, and many more. They have also completed two European tours with Threshold, performing across multiple countries and earning a strong reputation for their passionate and engaging live presence.
