A nostalgic indie pop artist.
Lexi Bee writes songs that make you cry, laugh, and maybe even blush. Born and raised in Texas, she grew up drawn to guitar fuzz and melody, shaping a sound rooted in indie folk with a playful, emotional edge. She’s brought that sound to stages in New York and Los Angeles, performing at venues like Nublu, The Bitter End, The Bowery Electric, East Berlin, and Chelsea Music Hall, as well as more intimate songwriter spaces like Open Folk at Hotel Café. Whether backed by a full band or stripped down solo, Lexi creates a world that feels both nostalgic and intimate. Her debut EP, supergalaxy (2025), captures a dreamy, coming-of-age energy, blending indie folk textures with 80s-inspired synths and a pop sensibility. It introduced listeners to her signature mix of vulnerability and charm. Her upcoming project, sick, leans fully into a 90s-inspired universe pulling from punk pop and Y2K nostalgia. It’s music made for late-night drives down the PCH, windows down, volume all the way up. Now based in Los Angeles, Lexi collaborates closely with producer duo Ari and Zak Blumer out of their Hollywood studio, where they’ve built a growing catalog of songs that continue to define her evolving sound.
