Known for his love for emotional dance music, the Leipzig-based producer Butschi is a big figure in the new trance scene. He is mostly drawing inspirations from the 90s trance era, evoking nostalgia with his own modern twist. While he has been releasing underground dancefloor tracks, he is mostly known for the collaborations with his close friends and environment, where he is merging personal and original vocals with trance beats and faster electronic music with classical songwriting. This has led to his tracks also being appreciated outside of the club - many of his listeners loose themselves in his tracks, being soaked in by his unique and personal approach of storytelling and electronic music. After having to find his place in the DJ world and touring life, 2025 marks another turning point for Butschi as he is bringing his discography alive again with lots of new releases.
