An underground electronic artist.
Born in Brescia, a town between Milan and Venice, Matteo Gamba did not grow up in a music-oriented family. Nevertheless, his early curiosity for instruments and sound equipment soon led him toward music. At 20, he discovered the club scene and quickly developed a passion for electronic music production. His first releases gained the support of leading Italian DJs, who played his tracks worldwide. In 2014, he moved to Berlin, where he began organizing parties and showcases for his label, Theatre Records. After performing across Europe, in 2020 he co-founded ABYOND together with Franz Alice Stern, Moon Leap, and Straahl—a label dedicated to electronic music in all its forms, beyond genre boundaries. A versatile producer, Matteo has explored different sounds under multiple aliases, including BEIN (techno) and Groovebox Industry (his debut project). His journey is still evolving—the rest is yet to be written.
