Fadi Tabbal

Fadi Tabbal is a Lebanese musician, producer, and sound engineer whose distinctive ambient music blends guitar, tape loops, and synthesizers. As a solo artist, Tabbal has released six albums between 2013 and 2022, building a reputation for his atmospheric compositions that explore introspection and emotional depth. In addition to his solo work, Tabbal has collaborated extensively with various musicians across genres. Notable partnerships include a duo with Charbel Haber, first as The Bunny Tylers and more recently under their own names. He has also worked with musician and producer Anthony Sahyoun under the name Stress/Distress, as well as with vocalist Julia Sabra in the project Snakeskin. As a seasoned sound engineer and producer at Tunefork Studios—an independent studio he founded in Beirut in 2006—Tabbal has been instrumental in shaping Lebanon’s contemporary alternative and oriental music scenes. His production credits include renowned acts such as Mashrou’ Leila, Zeid Hamdan, Mayssa Jallad, Adonis, Youmna Saba, SANAM, and many others. Tabbal is also a sound design specialist and has contributed to sound and music installations for museums, theatre, and film. Tabbal co-founded the Lebanese indie label Ruptured and continues to co-manage the label, contributing to its success in the regional and international scenes. He also serves as the technical director for Irtijal, Lebanon and the MENA region's leading experimental music festival, a role he has held since 2011.
